For the price of a few hours of babysitting, your child can learn to bake! In a two-hour class each Saturday, we explore the science and art of baking–and make tasty treats to bring home. Hands on baking activities encourage confidence, creativity and safety in the kitchen. The classes are lighthearted, but baking requires concentration and precision. Participants should come ready to focus, and get messy!
Please contact me for specifics about the location: email@example.com
I post recipes from previous classes in the Recipes section.
Sweets & Bitters hosts special invitation-only dinners and cocktail parties. Keep your ears to the ground…
"Forager" Kate Galassi envisioned a series of monthly salons where her friends in the creative, culinary and performing arts could come together to create atmospheric themed evenings. I collaborate with her on producing and serving food and cocktails. Recently, we built a forest of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in a TriBeCa loft for an evening of acoustic music, and hosted a candlelit Prospect Park Picnic highlighting favorite farmers’ and foodmongers’ summer best.
I developed and a menu of internet-marketing-themed drinks for Quantcast’s VIP dinner, during New York Internet Week 2011. We had a blast serving them on the Gramercy Park Hotel’s rooftop terrace!
Making cake for someone’s wedding is a special honor! I was thrilled to make regular, gluten free and vegan cupcakes for my friends Jay & Josie and Brian & Hillary on their respective special days. Congratulations my dears!
While I was managing the bar at Cook & Brown Public House, we hosted cocktail workshops with Chris Amirault of eGullet. Participants crafted and enjoyed their own cocktails while learning about the history of cocktails and spirits. I am available to teach similar workshops in your home, office or bar.
